This game had a lot of hype to live up
to; it was voted Party Game of the Year by Games magazine
and racked up many more honors, including something
called the "Major Fun Award." Happily, it did not disappoint.
The premise is refreshingly straightforward: Players
use one of their red apple cards to match the adjective
on the green apple card in the center. Each player takes
turns judging which player's card fits best, and therein
lies the comedy. Example: When the green-card word was
"adorable," one of us thought we had it in the bag with
our Meg Ryan card. But no – the judge for that
round (a man) ruled in favor of the card reading "supermodels."
Curses! Fun Factor: Whee! Major
fun all around.
